Artichokes have green leaves all over. They have purple leaves inside, too. On the tips of the Artichokes, there are pointy thorns on it. There are a lot of leaves on it. The leaves are smooth and thick. In the middle, there are hairy things in it called a choke and they are very fuzzy. Artichokes smell like leaves. My mom says that artichoke hearts taste sweet. Those kind of plants are fascinating. (Descriptive Writing)
